Lovely beach that is close to the shops and was lucky to check out the market on Sunday. Different cafes with variety of foods and friendly atmosphere. Beach had lifeguards patrolled and was good they had sunscreen as left mine in the car. Beach is clean and make sure to bring a beach umbrella

A great beach that doesn't seem to get to crowded, with heaps of area to have a quiet sun bath and not be overrun by the mad weekend mob. Beautiful water and very clean, well away from the more touristy areas along the Sunshine Coast.

What a lovely place for a family holiday. I was there with family ( young child ) and I found Peregian Beach to be ideal for young families. The beach is lovely, with a great park and playground for kids to play in and conveniently located close to cafes and take away shops if you want to have a meal... More

Great patrolled beach. Great to walk from here down to Coolum or vice versa. It is a very big beach so plenty of room for everyone while still benefiting from a life guard patrol. Little shopping centre and park adjacent to the beach.

Peregian Beach is not only a long, beautiful, patrolled surf beach but has a fantastic village atmosphere. The village square has many quality cafes and restaurants as well as some of the best boutique style shops and galleries on the coast. Love the huge parklands in front of the surf club where older kids can use the skate ramp and... More

Peregian Beach is the hidden treasure of the Sunshine Coast. The beach is natural with not too many people and the restaurants are great.

Golden sands stretching as far as the eye can see in both directions. Great for walking as the tide goes out quite far. Great for sunbathing as beach is so big plenty of room for everyone. Although during the week there were times we were the only people on the beach!

This beach never seems to be busy. I didn't swim in fear of blue bottle jelly fish. But it is a wonderful place to walk and just take in the scenery

life guards available in sections. However many jellyfish so be careful. There is also a fairly strong undertow.
