Sambangan Village has so many beautiful waterfalls. The waterfalls that we went in called Kroya waterfall, Kembar, and Pucuk. All of them are amazing. The entrance cost only IDR 20K/person.. but if you wanna go for swimming, cliff jumping, and do a water slide, it will cost IDR 125K/person. you'll get guide, water bottle, insurance, and a life jacket for safety.
The track is so easy and you'll be spoiled by so many stunning things inside.
If you wanna go to Aling2 waterfall, you can also go through here which is easier than before (than the track long time ago).

When planning the trip, it was a headache to choose which waterfall we were going to see. We were crossing the region on a transfer from Pemuteran to Amed, which we had spread over the whole day to enjoy sites on the way... but time for only one waterfall. Just in an internal vote in the final between Munduk Red Coral and Secret Garden, the latter won on the criterion of the plurality of waterfalls on the site.
At reception, there is the choice between the short circuit (5 waterfalls, including Aling Aling), medium (addition of Blue lagoon) and large, the total of 7 waterfalls. We took the medium route because the photos of Blue Lagoon really appealed to us... and you can swim there. The average tour is 75,000 IDR, much more than the sites we usually visit but we came on purpose, so we convert into euros to convince ourselves that there are no questions to ask and we go there. 2 guides accompany us.
The visit begins with a path that descends towards the river bed. in the direction of descent, it's fine... We'll think about the return later. 1 or 2 small pleasant waterfalls await us at the bottom. We are in the shade in the jungle, it's very pleasant. And around a bend, Aling Aling appears in front of us. A long flood which falls from very high and creates a rainbow in the mist of its impact in the basin below. The water seems to come out of nowhere, coming straight out of the lush jungle of the ridgeline.
Turn around and we're off for a climb of I don't know how many steps. The guides are adorable. They help us cross a ford (forget the docksides, you have to take off your shoes for the ford, but don't dream of continuing barefoot - bring shoes that you can take off and put back on easily). The steps are high, the staircase takes about ten minutes. It's hot, stops and water are essential. We then arrive at Blue Lagoon. A wonder. A vast and calm body of water with a small waterfall at the bottom which is fed by the river arriving from a narrow canyon, all in extraordinary greenery. The invitation to swim, after the stairs, is too strong: the water is cool... really cool. But it's good... really good. In this deep basin surrounded by peaks covered in vegetation, you can enjoy a timeless moment.
The return road stops at a pool set up for jumping (one of 5 meters and one of 10 meters, I thought I heard that there was one 15 meters a little further away) which lands in a pool at the foot of a waterfall which is used as a natural slide.
The average circuit (jump and slide included, that's what having young people with you) will have taken us around 2 hours.
One of my favorite moments of our stay.

We did the medium hike of 5 waterfalls, which includes the ‘blue lagoon’ which we had all for our selves. We started with a walk through the local rice paddies and villages, with some fresh coconut and cacao tasting. Our gide Sila was excellent in knowledge and speaking English, showing us the local vegetation and traditions. From the ‘blue lagoon’ you hike towards the short track of 4 waterfalls with a natural waterslide and jumps of 5m, 10m, and 16m. These as a bit more busy, but our kids and I loved it! Around lunchtime the tour is finished and we relaxed in a nearby restaurant with pool.

We had Panca as a guide, and he was kind, thoughtful, and a very good guide. We enjoyed his company as he took us to the falls, and to the areas where we could jump and slide into the water. The area definitely isn't a secret, there were several other people there, but not so many that it diminished the experience. In fact, it was nice to see people encouraging each other as some (including me!) got nervous about jumping or sliding on the big jumps/slides. The water is clean and refreshing, the hike is easy, and it was well worth our time. Definitely a highlight of our time in Sukasada! Thank you, Panca!

We found this unexpectedly on the Internet when looking for things to do with fun and not to much walking. 😉
Arrangement, short trekking, booked by phone with Kade Samedi, apologies for the spelling. Number different though from Tripadvisor being +62 812 36736894. After arrival and completing the logbook we got two guides of our group of 7. Started with little walk through rice fields, entered the woods visiting in total 4 waterfalls. Good options for swimming at no 2, 3 and 4. Options for jumping 5, 10 and 15mtr as well. And off course the natural water slide at no 2. A thing you must have done, just bare in mind: Never try, Never know. And when will you have your next chance. 😊 After our two daredevils, girls of 11 and 19 years old, did the 15 meter jump we went back again. In the meantime we have had plenty of time for swimming under the waterfalls. All in all a well spend morning under the guidance of Maddy and his colleague. As it got much busier my idea is that you can start the best around 9 o'clock giving free time at the waterfalls. Prima kasih Kade!!

I am so happy that I took my motorbike to this incredible place. When I arrived I hired a local guide for 250k IDR for a 3 hour tour. I had a orchard tour. There are 3 tiers: short, medium and long. I took the medium tour and it included water and fresh coconut water.i got to swim in the blue lagoon and visit 4 waterfalls. This place is not suggested during rainy season in Jan-March. This time of year in May was perfect! Swimming in the blue lagoon was refreshing and relaxing. The trails are well maintained and there are lots of steps. And just by the entrance to the trail on the right there’s the cutest Rice fields ever. I say cute because the owner has put up colorful flags, a swing, he’s growing sunflowers and has a “love arch.” I couldn’t stop laughing. There’s a warung on property but it’s only ok...but it was nice to support the family. The motorbike ride, hike, swim and entire experience was AMAZING!

BE CAREFUL! The entrance for visiting only it's 20.000 IDR. But they will not say that to you. They will offer the "shortest" option that is 250.000 IDR!!!! Be explicit about what you want to do because they want to get all your money!

My husband and I stayed in Sambangan for 1 week and the top thing on our list to do was the Secret Garden long trek of waterfalls. We visited the tourist booth located on the street and arranged a trip with Moharba. Beginning at 8am we explored 8 waterfalls and a blue lagoon. As wonderful as the beauty was that surrounded us, part of what made our day so special was the excellence of our guide. He explained so many things while we trekked, and had a very pleasant demeanor. Swimming in the cool clear waters, jumping the 5 and 10 meter cliffs and spending the day with our great guide made this one of our best in Bali. If you are planning to do this spectacular activity you must see if Moharba is available! +62 819-3301-2802
