This huge mall is located across the street from the Kyoto Station and behind the New Miyako Hotel. Staying at the latter during my visit to Kyoto, I find this mall extremely convenient as it has basically everything that you ever need under one roof,...More
On the South of the train station you can find this mall. As most tourist leave on the North of the station there were almost no tourists here.

Aeon Mall Kyoto is located next to Hotel Miyako and opposite to Kyoto JR Station. The mall is of medium size but contained varieties of commodity for customers particularly the restaurants on 5th floor. Really a convenient mall recommended to tourists when travel nearby.
I stayed at the New Miyako so this mall is just around the corner. It is quieter than other areas but the restaurants offer a great choice. We ate here on two consecutive nights as it had all we required.
A short walk from the Kyoto subway and you can relax and enjoy some shopping. Afterwards a visit to the food court will satisfy even the fussy eaters. Great selection of traditional and modern Japanese cuisine.
車站附近需要購買 MUJI, UNIQLO, ABC MART 的好去處，而且都可以退稅，但比較大的問題是沒有 HAPPY GATE 機器，所以就無法再打 5% 的折扣。
A convenient place to buy uniqlo, MUJI, ABC MART in tax free, but they don't have the happy gate machine to earn extra 5% off.
Southern Kyoto has a reserved air. Though the Fushimi Inari Shrine is one of Kyoto's major tourist attractions, the surrounding nature, parks, gardens, temples, and shrines provide less-visited spaces for strolling and reflection. The Fushimi Inari Shrine itself is made up of 32,000 sub-shrines, and the mountain they are dotted across beckons hikers, picnickers, and lovers of the outdoors. Many of the
mountain's off-set paths aren't frequented by tourists, and the mountain's serenity can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace. Southern Kyoto is the place to enjoy being outside, and to pay your respects to the ancient architecture and gods of the land that are celebrated here.
