Drunkards alley is a lot of fun. Super small but you sit and make conversation with locals and tourists alike. We sat at one tiny bar the whole night but it was a lot of fun getting to speak to the people who stopped by.

We had a fun experience at one of these yocokho bars in Osaka so ga e this one a try. Be aware they charge between $6 to 10 cover to sit and at our bar the shot of whisky was $12! Our total bill for...More

Amazing small, quiet alley just steps off one of the busiest parts of Tokyo. My wife and I went there around 7-8pm on a week night - perfect time as all the little bars were open and getting going, but there were still some seats...More

Could be an amazing night but it is pretty pricey- we got charged 600 yen to sit down each and drinks on average 1000 yen or more if you want a good whisky. We went early 7:30pm and only few bars open so would be...More

Went here at lunchtime, but couldn't find anywhere open, then by chance happened upon this place at night. After poking our noses in most of the small drinking establishments couldn't find any with space for three (most only have space for 6-8) then the last...More

You might think Shibuya is a town for young people. But there're many old Japanese style like Syowa era bars and restaurants in "NONBEI YOKOCHO". I think the best bar in this area is Enoki. You should try good fish food!

Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the
Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops
that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest
areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's
Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to
recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh
yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast,
Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.
