An informative visit, Brian regaled tales of both mine and miners alike. There is certainly content for those not just into the intricacies of mining. Highly recommended - good luck with the ferry timings!

Yes you can take your car on the ferry. There is a cost, it is not a provincial ferry. Sorry, i do not remember the cost of the museum, it was very reasonably priced.

The #2 Mine Tour & Museum is roughly 3.5 km from the ferry terminal. There are other sites that are a must while visiting our beautiful island. I would suggest, in order to have a full experience, a vehicle would certainly... More
