Great tour aboard a 700 ton Galleon. Left about 9:30 a.m. Had a nice breakfast below deck; best coffee. Sailed through the Bay as our “pirates” put on a show. Our server was always checking to see if we needed anything. We spent the afternoon at a secluded beach on the Majahuites Island where chairs and umbrellas were available for all. Drinks, snorkelling, kayaking and a ride on a “banana boat” were all included. The children were well entertained with games and a treasure hunt. Sailing back to the Marina we enjoyed a wonderful lunch of steak and lobster. There were many choices which included stuffed chicken, ribs, tuna steak and about three more options. Overall a trip worth taking especially for the children. Best service we have ever had.…

This may be one of the best beaches in all of Mexico. After a boat ride, you arrive at a secluded and peaceful slice of heaven. Great for snorkeling, boarding, or just playing in the water.

A stop at Majahuitas Beach was included on a Vallarta Adventure excursion we were on, and it was enjoyable. If you're looking for clean white sand, you're on the wrong side of Mexico. The beach here has a gravelly texture, but it is in a beautiful setting. There was an open bar, a volleyball net, ample beach bags to lounge on, kayaks, paddle boards, and great scenery. The crew will do their best to insure you have a great time, as always. Our crew put on a show on the way back to port which included the "Mexican Rolling Stones" and a breakdancing exhibition. Enjoy the activities and the view while you're here. You won't find them back home.…

Wednesday 18th April and we visited here as part of our Vallarta Adventures luxury snorkeling tour (reviewed separately). The boat journey here took about 75 minutes The snorkeling element of the tour took place in Majahuitas Cove which is where the beach is situated. We did see a variety of colourful fish but there were a large number of jellyfish. After snorkeling our boat moored up near the beach, and we had to swim to shore if we wanted to visit the beach. As part of the tour there were other activities, power snorkeling, paddle boarding, lounge on the lilly pad or the banana trip. Overall we were here for 90 minutes, so once we had dispensed with the activities we headed for the beach. All of our belongings, towels, sun cream, camera remained on the board, no transportation to the beach. On the beach there was a variety of seats, including deck chairs, washrooms and a bar, not sure if they served food but drinks were free. There was also a volley ball net and that was about it. So while this small stretch of beach looked very picturesque with its white shell/coral/small stoney sand, which was hard to walk on in bare feet, we soon got bored. So after about 30 minutes we braved the cold waters of the ocean and headed back to the boat. Nice to look but a case of been there, seen it done it, but won't be back.…

We visited this speech is part of a tour. An abundance of chairs restaurants and bathrooms which is where the good part ends. The beach itself is shells which is very hard to walk on and very sharp on your feet. Swimming was okay in a small area but the waves were quite large. The locals were relentless on selling souvenirs and would often ask multiple times. To be honest I really couldn't wait to leave. I usually take pictures but I didn't take one of this area…
