This is a must visit place. Normally pretty quiet, especially in the offseason. Very beautiful. Great for a swim or paddle around. The bay is protected from rough seas in the channel.

Yes, there are nearby caravan park type of accommodation. I suggest you book prior making you way there. I drove there which possibly is the better option. Take care

There is a car park at the top of the cliffs when you enter Durdle Door, there is a fee, Which is dependant on how long you stay there. The walk from the car park to Durdle Door is very steep & you need a reasonable degree... More
