Quite a big walk up there but it was very nice and there was an ice cream shop there and they served dog ice cream! Very nice

First of all, I cannot understand the negative reviews about this place. Complaining about parking, when all the money goes to maintain the facilities you've just used? Unbelievable. My fiancée and I were on a road trip in the UK. When we left Bournemouth to...More

Pictures can't do it justice, like other places of this scale. Just a different experience being able to see it in person & make the hike down to the beaches & caves. Pretty easy to get to, park & hike. Not for those out-of-shape as...More

Like other reviewers the walks down to both attractions are fine, it's the steep up hills on the way back. Both car parks were packed, although I thought that you could use the same ticket in both was a really good idea. Stuuning scenery best...More

We enjoyed the walk down to the pebble beach. It was a little busy, but ok. Steep walk back up the hill. Beautiful views. Worth the visit.

The private estate that owns the land runs industrial sized car parks and static caravan sites. Despite this the area is still a special place but you are left wondering how much better this Jurassic Coast would be in the ownership of the National Trust.More

Thank you for your comments. The car parks and holiday park reflect the fact that many people want to visit this special place. It is indeed privately owned; money raised goes towards the upkeep of this beautiful area, visitor services (health and safety, facilities, footpath...More

Came here for a walk with our 12yr old and 2 dogs. Absolutely stunning views of the coast and coves. We walked right down to the beach, nearly killed us walking back up again! Not for those with walking problems or extremely unfit. It’s quite...More

There is roadside parking possible if you are prepared to walk the extra distance. however I don't remember the carparks at either Durdle or the cove having barriers. (might be wrong).
