This is a great attraction for families as kids see underground stalagmites and stalagtites with ancient cave drawings on the cave walls. Our guide conducted the tour in French but there are some translations of attractions in English. We were given a written information sheet in English after paying at the reception. There is also a park area with information... More

These caves are stunning with plenty to see and are breathtaking in parts. The cave paintings are fascinating and the little garden attraction is very informative. It doesn't open until 2pm in October, and an audio/guide tour in English would be an improvement although the tour guide was very helpful.

The whole area is full of caves created and sculptured by the rise and fall of oceans and the natural elements over millions of years. These caves represent half a kilometre of pathway with the most stunning light effects and amazing dense stalactite phenomena. The whole of this particular area constitutes 14 km but most of it has been left... More

The caves are spectacular & anyone visiting the area would be nuts not to go, especially at the entrance fee of only 8.5 euros. The guide speaks in French only, but you get a language card for non-French speakers, which is very informative. The only real negative is possibly that it's a bit claustrophobic, especially at the start of the... More

The caves are certainly worth a visit, with some interesting pre-historic drawings and lovely geological features. The tour is 85% French language and 15% English, so you may feel that you haven't come away with the full picture. There is a visitor centre, café, picnic area and children's area at the site too. A good visit for a hot day.

A well organised location with , 19, 000 year old pre-historic caves showing beautiful stalagtite and stalagmite formations. The cave also shows a few paintings of horses in manganese that are well preserved. To note, you have to book a time slot with a tour and a guide. We didn't know this and had to wait an hour for the... More

Enjoyable trip. Cooler than you think once down in the caves from the hot August sun outside. Lovely geological formations. A few prehistoric murals. Gardens outside nice and kids will enjoy. Found staff a little stroppy but generally a nice day out. Not one if you're scared of tight spaces.

Great caves with original cave paintings. The guide was great and spoke both in English and French and took her time to explain things. Sound and light show halfway through but they do turn out the lights. Our five year old was a little scared but ok but wouldn't recommend for under 5's.

Not just beautiful caves, nice gardens & cafe as well. Tour of caves was very good with guide doing commentary in both English & French - the only thing I would advice is the caves seemed a good 10c colder than outside, so if you are taking small children I would make sure they have another layer of clothing.

We visited as two families with children aged from 6-16. A great tour with guide who spoke in both French and English fluently. Lovely light show and pre-historic cave paintings which made for a memorable visit. Had the weather not been raining, there are also pretty gardens to enjoy. Free parking, toilets, cafe and gift shop also on site ❤️
