These Gardens are beautifully Kept. No one around though to ask anything. Visitor map guide not near entrance sign so difficult to know where to go. Signage of areas was good but no plant names anywhere that I could see. Nice walk but that's about it. Slightly out of season so flowers were few and far between

A lovely, lovely place to spend a few hours. We had a wonderful time admiring the plants and trees, most of them labelled, walking through the rain-forest and photographing the kookaburras who posed admirably for us. Great place for a picnic.

Congratulations to all of the hard working volunteers who are responsible for these beautiful gardens. We visited on Saturday with our young daughter and she was enchanted with the Sooty Owl B&B and all of the bridges. We spent a wonderful morning exploring and look forward to another visit.

Virtually EVERY plant is marked with their botanic name - and they are local to the area. The gardens are magnificent, a river running through, archways of flowers and winding around the hills, rich with local flora and fauna ...

We found the Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens to be very quiet and peaceful. But we did call in on a Thursday morning, so it may be very different on weekends. Having said that, there was a wedding taking place in one of the groves near the pavilion, but they were very well behaved and quiet (even though the bride was... More

It was a welcoming pleasure to be on the mountain, six degrees cooler than in Brisbane on the day of our visit. The botanical gardens was our first stop on our afternoon visit, a short drive away from the main street of Tamborine. The gardens are well laid out over the undulating terrain, from the car park we entered the... More

The area is relatively very small, you could walk all of it in under an hour, so on its own it won't make a whole day out, unless you stay for a long picnic, relax and games. Good basic facilities, toilets, sheltered picnic tables. No drinking water. You have to take your rubbish out with you. But the lakes and... More

Hi richard88844 I appreciate you taking the time to review the Gardens, and am pleased you enjoyed your visit. Despite the dry and very hot weather we are having, we have been able to keep the water up to the Gardens and they have not suffered in any real way and are looking fresh and green. The botanical gardens are a quite retreat from the hot weather, with nice walks through rainforest vegetation and cool air. The gardens provide a group of different walks with each with its particular theme and vegetation. One can spot different birds while on the park. In my case I had the chance of getting very close to a friendly Kookaburra... More

Dear fede_demochila I am pleased you enjoyed your visit to the Gardens and took the time to review them. It is much cooler on the Mountain than the coast, and even cooler at the Gardens with makes them a lovely place to visit during these hot times. I am glad you meet some of our wildlife the the friendly Kookaburras... More
