Located between Propriano and Sartene, the beach is easy reachable from the road. There's a free parking next to the beach entrance and however, parking is also possible on both sides of the road. There are lots of trees and shrubs by the beach if you're looking for shadow during the hot sunny days and a restaurant with sheltered terrace. The sand is fine and the sea is usually flat, as the place is actually a natural gulf. Not far from restaurant, some rocks emerge from sea while some others are underwater. The area surrounded by these rocks and boulders is filled with spectacular marine fauna, including fish, marine snails, shells and urchins. We had a lot of fun snorkelling around and even spotted an octopus, hiding itself in a tiny cave. We believed it was there to protect its spawn. Been there in July and not checked the restaurant, as we came with our picnic cool box. We’ve visited some other beaches around Propriano as well and I can say that Portigliolo is the one we liked the most.

This is a great beach, close to Sartène and Propriano. There is some parking on the road and a few bays too. There is also a restaurant for lunch, drinks, ice creams (and toilets!) The beach itself is very long so plenty of space if you don’t like crowds... Keep walking past the families and boat hire for a quieter spot! Very easy access compared to some others in the area.

Stopped in Propriano on a recent cruise of the Med, and it was by far our favourite stop. Visited the beautiful beach, which has crystal clear waters and is very unspoilt. Quiet and peaceful and a wonderful place to spend a few hours.

If you are looking for a nice beach, with cristal clear water, Propriano is your place. The beach is not to crowded, you have lots of shops near by for food, activities and gifts.
