The first time we went to Jordans pond we couldn't park so would highly recommend going at times that aren't around meal times. We did the walk around the pond and it was wonderful, beautiful peaceful views all the way around. Loved the boardwalk. We...More

The site here is very developed with an enormous cafe, shop etc, bypass and carry on down to the lake, wonderful walks either side, great views abound.

We visited here in October, on a Tuesday afternoon. Parking was difficult, to the point where we parked semi-legally at the edge of the lot. I imagine summer is worse. We were able to access the pond about 100 yards from the parking area. We...More

Jordan's Pond wasn't a particular highlight of our visit to Acadia NP, but it was worth seeing - certainly if you have the time. If you are on a tight schedule - perhaps not.

First off the parking lot is a total disaster. Almost ruins it. However the lake and trails are completely beautiful. I was here as the leaves were changing. It was really beautiful.

One of the most beautiful views that I have ever seen. I wish that I had time to hike the whole trail but I was glad that I was able to see this. It's so beautiful that it's hard to believe that it is real.

Jordan Pond is a great combination hike-and-lunch excursion. The Jordan Pond shore path takes you on a 3.3-mile walk around the pond. If you go counterclockwise, you start on a gravel trail close to the shore. At the northern end of the pond are a...More

We stopped at Jordon Pond in the Acadia National Park for lunch. It does not open until 11am daily until the middle of October, then closes for the season. We all had the lobster roll with chips. Although very busy place our wait was not...More
