The Broken Arch (actually it is just cracked with no real threat of it falling down because it is "broken") is an easy, level hike from the Sand Dune arch parking lot. After visiting the Sand Dune arch, which most who stop here only do,...More

This trailhead begins in the campground area of the Devil’s Garden area of the park. Keep this in mind when parking! We actually parked way far away from this trailhead as we were unaware of the starting point, and could have had a fro t...More

You can start this hike at the campground or Sand Dune Arch trailhead. We made the mistake of parking at Devil's Garden and hiking through the campground to get to the trailhead in the middle of the afternoon. Make sure you take plenty of water...More

Well, it's kind of broken - has a crack through the top - but it is an easy hike and therefore worth taking a look. If you are stopping to look at Sand Dune arch, take a look at this one as well.

You can get a great view of this from parking area, or take a moderate walk over to it. This is a very interesting arch and worth a look.

Most people never make the trek to see Broken Arch in Arches NP. So, that's why it's so free of crowds even at midday in the summer months. The best views of the arch are looking south through the arch back towards the trailhead. Definitely...More
