The windows section is the best bang for your buck in Arches, here you can see turret arch and the north and south windows with very little hiking. But the primitive trail also provides more adventurous opportunities if that is your thing. All three of these Arches you can get inside which is a lot of fun. The fist window... More

Our 7th time in Arches at all seasons! Walked the whole Windows trail in January. Boots with cleats a good idea in variable levels of ice and snow. Be sure of your outfit in case of wind and cold - temp drops quickly at dusk. Have a flashlight if you're out late in the day. Park is wonderful when there... More

The Windows area has the largest concentration of natural arches in the entire world. There are so many attractions packed into such a small area such as The Parade of Elephants, Turret Arch, The Windows (AKA The Spectacles), Cove Arch, Ribbon Arch, Elephant Butte, and the Cove of Caves are all within half a mile of each other. This is... More

Much like lots of the vistas at arches (and Moab generally) Windows is best viewed as the sun is getting ready to set (Golden Hour). A sunny day will turn the window-arches fiery red. This is owing to the east facing approach to the windows. Enjoy!

One of the many walks through Arches National Park that all together adds up to a memorable and special site.

The 3 Arches were pretty easy to get to, and are worth checking out because of that. I went for sunrise and the shadows the sun cast across the desert were pretty cool, but this isn't what you came to the park for.

Great views to and from these wonders of nature. We spent a good few hours walking and viewing as many of the arches and special rock formations as we could in our time here. This is a great time to visit as it is not too busy.

You could miss this one out, but while you're here why not visit? I suggest not visiting in the heat of the day, especially in July & August

When you visit Double Arch, you are also just a modest uphill walk to Windows, so if you are able, make sure you take the windows in as well.
