We had fun exploring this area. There are fossil exhibits and a boardwalk. We went off the beaten trail to explore. Found it to be amazing fun.

Two large rams in fact. The fossil exhibit is interesting and educational as well. Nice place to take an easy walk.

If you are driving by, might as well stop, but there is better scenery once you get farther into the Badlands. There was a little information on some fossils which was fairly interesting but I've seen better.

Easy trail to walk & close to the main road thru the Badlands. Sept a good time to travel due to milder temps & less traffic!

This is a super easy, quick walk on a man made boardwalk. There are bathrooms and a few areas to picnic. The kids had a fun time reading about the different animals that used to live in South Dakota.
