We think Bryce Canyon is one of the most beautiful of all the parks we went to on our first extended retirement trip. The weather was comfortable and the visitor center had a lot of information about the area.

We hiked the full loop clockwise in late December. There was snow on the ground, making the beauty of this magnificent land even more special. Perfect hiking weather, sunny and 45 degrees. We still had trouble finding a parking space.

Did this trail the morning of our second day. It was well worth it. the difference in views from the top to being in the trees was amazing. Also since we were here the second week in December it was quiet and we were really...More

We went down the Navajo side. There are some steep switch backs but nothing terrible. The loop is a perfect hike to see lots of different aspects of the canyon

This trail is so amazing. We took the advise of many and decided to start at Sunset Point, descending through Wall Street to make the ascend easier and I really recommend you do the same if you are not in the best shape. We went...More

I'm not really a hiker, but my daughter convinced me to take her here, and all I can say is that it was nothing short of fantastic. We were here in early December so the traffic on the trail was very lite which allowed us...More

This loop is a bit tiring, we chose to go first down and then up and i think it was a good choice. There is no water/toilet on the loop so think about it before doing loop :)

This is the #1 trail in Bryce for a reason - this is the hike that enables you to see the most/best of the wonders that Bryce has to offer the lucky visitor - Hoodoos, Thors Hammer and more incredible rock formations and crazy trees...More

We loved this trail! Beautiful views of the hoodoos and just a great hike. Our daughters (11 and 13) loved this hike, but I would not recommend it for children younger than 4... unless you're ready to carry them up Wall Street. Wall Street is...More

Hi! Start from Sunset Point, if you come the other way you'll get the steepest part going upwards. You will need water and some snacks and there are nice places to sit down for a while. You will find that you stop in many... More

Hi Dominique - the Fairyland loop is much quieter and a good length hike, although I think the views are better if you take the Queen's Garden / Navajo trails PLUS detour via the Peek-a-Boo loop (this will add about three or... More

Apart from "Wall Street" going up then I wouldn't call any of these trails too hard or strenuous, if you go down from the rim and don't want a long hike out to Tropic. In my opinion the hike from Tropic would be harder... More
