About 2 miles into the Under the Rim Trail you arrive at the Hat Shop, a beautiful group of balanced rock hoodoos. It is well worthwhile and a great way to get down into the canyon.

This trail takes you down into the canyon at Bryce. You need to be relatively fit as the descent and ascent is about 1000ft and it can be quite hot down there in the Summer, so take lots of water. You get some fabulous scenery...More

Took Rainbow Point bus tour and Bryce Shuttle to accommodate this 30+ mile (including loop around Yovimpa/ Riggs) one way hike. A well designed trail that is deteriorating due to minimal Park Service maintenance in wake of recent fire and some creek blowouts. Only 1...More

We walked the portion of this trail from Bryce Point to the "hat shop", a cluster of interesting hoodoos. The hike took a total of about 3-1/2 hours at an easy pace. One of the nicest things about this trail was that we felt we...More

We did this in 2010 - it took about three hours and it was a beautiful walk, which any hiker with a minimal experience could do

One of the most beautiful hiking spots in the region. The towering hoodoos are spectacular. The little critters are a little too used to having company so watch out for the beggers. Make sure you don't get caught in a gully washer too.

It is probably the longest trail in Bryce and it requires good planning. It requires a permit if you want to do the whole trail - it is 23 miles one way. it is impossible to do this trail in one day. Even the "fittest...More
