A little walk from the parking lot bring miles of unobstructed views with hoodoos everywhere you look. We spent more time here than any other viewpoint and could have spent even more time but wanted to get hiking before sunset. Save this one for last...More
One of our fave Points for sunrise, my husband likes to timelapse photo and this was perfect. He stood his camcorder with mini tripod on flat part of wall as you enter footpath from parking lot. Most others were higher up by railing.

Inspiration Point actually overlooks areas on the Navajo/Queens Garden Trail, but it is actually about 1 mi. south of the trailhead at Sunset Point along the Rim Trail. You access that loop trail (and the even more amazing, imho, Peekaboo Loop), from Sunset or Sunrise Point.
