If the road is open go to this spot first. This gives you an incredible view of the ampitheaters and the aliigator. You can hike or not to get a great view, and you are at an elevation of almost 9000 feet so be prepared and wear layers. You can see for over 200 miles from up here, and it... More

The name says it all. It is THEE "Bryce Point". The largest overlook of the largest part of the "amphitheater" canyon.

We hiked down from Bryce Point in November 2016. We were headed for the Peek-a-boo loop trail, but it was so cold and windy we only got as far as the rock "window" (before the trail splits to form the "loop") before heading back up. Round-trip, we hiked about 45 minutes, and got some great views of the canyon and... More

The natural tendency is to think that Sunrise Pt. a better place from which to watch a sunrise, but Bryce Pt. is better for this, especially in the fall through spring when the sun is rising more from the south. Photography is enhanced because you do not look into the sun from this spot but rather you can easily see... More

It is difficult to review each area as all are incredibly beautiful. The vastness of Bryce Canyon is breathtaking & a must see.

Best to the drive to the Southeast Corner of the Park ... well marked and just east of Inspiration Point ... Looks like a really good Sunrise spot too ... Smaller Parking lot can get very full

This location, in my opinion, has the best view of the park. It was one of the last places we stopped at and it was totally spectacular. You have a 270 degree panorama from the point. Don't miss this one.

The entire time your looking into this amphitheater . The colors are brilliant. You can walk along the edge or walk down into the 2.2 mile trail.

If you are staying in the park and have a car, this is the place to go to watch the sun rise. We learned that little tidbit from a ranger, so we followed his advice. It was worth the drive (5 minutes or so from the lodge). The sun rises to your right and lights the canyon in front of... More
