The overlook and corresponding 1 mile hike along the rim (one way) were probably one of the higlights of our trip to Southern Utah. Easy hike and a MUST DO!

I enjoyed Canyonlands but personally Arches imo was way nicer. This is a great spot for views from the car and small trails to nice overviews of canyons. Watch your step people it’s a long way down.

Grand View Point - Island in the Sky: Arrived early and hiked the easy 2 mile round-trip trail to the end of the mesa. Enjoyed amazing views the whole way.

One of the bests attractions of Canyonlands. Parking is quick to fill up so you may have to make a couple of passes.

The views from here were amazing... It was so calming just to sit on the edge and take in the views as far as the eye can see.

For me, this was the highlight of Canyonlands NP. The views are mind-blowing and some of the rock formations look like a 3-dimensional jigsaw. If you get the chance, you must visit Grand View Point Overlook.

Panoramic grand view of red rock mesas and canyons. Breathtakingly beautiful. The high elevation or the overlook allows viewer to see great distances.

Wonderful place and views - very busy, with a reasonable amount of parking, but there is a pretty quick turnover of people coming and going. The main view point is pretty packed, but wander in either direction and it really thins out. Recommend the hike...More
