This was another hike we completed at Canyonlands NP. This hike starts at the southernmost point of Grand View Point Road. Get there early for a parking spot! The views on this trail are jaw dropping – as well as the sheer magnitude of the...More

Don't miss out on Grand View Point when visiting Canyonlands. The observation point area is crowded, but the views are spectacular. We also did the trail, and there were a lot less people on the trail, especially if you do the entire hike. The trail...More

Pictures just do not do this place justice. You have to be there to appreciate the vastness and beauty as you stand on the cliff edge and view the valley below. Less crowed than Moab and Arches parks.

Beautiful hike (about a mile). Has a scenic overlook with railing, however along the hike- lots of edges! The path doesn’t get you close, unless you want closer! Lots of great picture opportunities!

Probably the nicest hike in the park, and probably the most crowded as well. But just like at the Grand Canyon, all we needed to do was to walk a few hundred yards to find solitude. Grand View Point Overlook has the ideal combination of...More

The viewpoint is great but don't stop there and do the trail. It's not too long or difficult and will reward you with an even more amazing set of views

One of the best views in the American Southwest, Grand View is a nice spot to sit back and take it all in.
