This is a fairly easy trail. It takes about 2 hours depending on how often you stop. One of the prettiest natural bridges I have seen in the area. If you don't do any other hikes, do this one!

The parking lot was full when we got there, but we decided to give this a try anyway. The initial 1/3 of the hike is the main altitude gain and the rest is easy. The scenery is awesome all along the trail. Once you are...More

At first going up can be challenging for some, it’s like getting a full work out on the step master. I found myself out of breath going up. Once you’re up top it’s beautiful, and not difficult once you pass the bridge the sights on...More

Hike is moderate going up. Well marked and steps are manageable. Many or sights to see - smaller bridges. Good place to have a snack is on the other side of the bridge.

This can be a little difficult but well worth the effort. The trail goes up about 400 feet and is as much as a climb as is a hike. Be careful not to lose the trail, as it can be a little treacherous if you...More

It’s a moderate hike with an elevation gain just over 400 ft. It levels off in several different areas where you can catch your breath and take photos. People of all ages were on the trail.

This has been definitely my favourite hike in Capitol Reef. I have a genuine fear of heights (especially near cliffs) and this trail was really fine for me and yet a little more interesting than only the flat trails along the rivers. The views and...More

Great trail for families. We had a group of six (4 adults and 2 kids age 5 and 2). We all loved the hike. Plan on 2-3 hours if your group is similar to ours

I would recommend going early before it's too hot as there's not much shade. Some areas are somewhat steep so not an easy hike but not too bad at all. Take water and enjoy the views. You can donate a $1 and pick up a...More
