This is very easy to get to right along the road. They have build a walk way along the wall that makes it accessible to everyone. Worth the stop to see!

After leaving the Capital Reef National Park , keep watch for a small parking area for Fremont Petroglyphs. There is a short walkway to the viewing area. At the viewing area are binoculars and a map to help locate the markings on the cliffs.

Close to the road, good access, easy walk. It is always in the shade so it is a perfect place to rest and cool off after a hike. This is great for everyone but I think it especially good for kids in elementary school -...More

Easy walk on a boardwalk to keep people away from the petroglyphs. There is a area where binoculars are available to view up close. Amazing to see.

This ancient rock art by Fremont people can be easily viewed from turnout just east of Visitors Center on Hwy 24. There is a short boardwalk to the canyon wall where you can see dozens of figures. They are very interesting. There is a sign...More
