Took this route back to Las Vegas after our day trip at death valley. Its an easy scenic drive, with hills, mountains, valleys, what I thought was a swamp etc. It was a little eerie as there is nothing there. No houses, side roads, power...More

It was great fun to drive through the speedway. Lots of curves and nice views. But I got really scared after it got dark and I had to go about 1,5 hour through the desert without seeing any light, any house nor car :/ strange

Stunning and quite frightening landscape here...plenty of time to look around, were on motorbikes so had a real feel for the "heat" that this place generates....and this was NOVEMBER! Only 94 that day, but enough on a bike! Worth the trip from Vegas though

This is the most awesome roadway that takes in all sorts of views of valleys and mountains. Plenty of stop off points to take much needed photos.

It's hard to understand the beauty of Death Valley unless you've been there. This is one of the more scenic areas. We enjoyed exploring here.

Get out onto the valley floor as the sun comes over the side mountains to get some amazing photographs with long shadows and clear detail. Just a few minutes drive from Furnace Creek Resort.

As vast as this landscape is it is actually quite beautiful with its long road disguising such interesting landscape. I loved this road and enjoyed watching it all pass by with its unique pockets of shrub, cactus and dry sandy dirt. A desert that looks...More
