It was 127 degrees when we were here which is just a bit too risky to do too much hiking. We ventured back a little ways, but the rock was so hot, we couldn't really touch it to climb. I wish we could have gone...More

My daughter and I visited Mosaic Canyon on June 2nd, around noon. It was a bit of a lengthy, bumpy ride to the trailhead. At the trailhead we were the only car in the lot. It was a nice hike. Very cool scenery. We each...More

Take your time getting to this from highway 190 , unpaved road is quite bumpy ! When your there , a pleasant low uphill grade walk through some lovely rock formations awaits , a small amount of scrambling required ,nothing too bad though. We walked...More

If you do only one hike this is the one! Easy...but the rock formations are amazing! Highly recommend this as a number one selection for hikers. Gets hot so hike early in the morning! Bring the camera!

This is a very enjoyable walk. Not unbelievable, but worth the effort. Also consider Golden Canyon, no one was there but it was probably better.

great hike. Short enough for most. first narrow then opens up. Walls in area are smooth, polished marble. Walls literally look like they were constructed as a mosaic. Really pretty

Any car will do, the dirt road to the parking area is fairly well maintained and you don't need 4X4 capability to make it to the canyon.
