We taken to wonder lake after enjoying tundra in Denali National Park. The lake not so wide but in autumn the color around the lake is beautiful. We can find berries tree around the lake.

If you get this far into the park it is well worth the stop. Beautiful clear lake with Mount Denali as the back drop.

Just part of the trip down Denali road - if you are going to go that far into Denali, at least go see it. Bring mosquito spray. AWFUL there.

There is only one bus route. Wonder Lake is about three miles or so from the literal "end of the road", about 90 miles in.
