Informative and nice National Park visitor center. We were there in late June and it was very crowded, but we still enjoyed learning about the park and shopping in the gift shop.

At the Denali Visitor Center, 1.5 miles from the park entrance, you can explore the exhibits and talk to park rangers. Be sure to take time to see the award winning film : Heartbeats of Denali.

Stop here to get the lay out of the park and plan your adventure with the rangers.... how to best see the mountains ahead and Mt. Denali teasing through the clouds... . spend a few hours before boarding the Alaska express train through the park

This very large and well equipped facility had much to offer. Eatery, gifts, information and all staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Bathroom facilities were clean and well-maintained. Very impressive center.

ANY National Park Visitors Center is a place to not miss! It is full of displays, demonstrations, information, interesting Rangers willing to share their knowledge with you. Always an opportunity to catch a movie introducing you to the Park itself.

The Visitor Center was a stop after we completed a tour of the park. The rangers were exceptional, the video helped to answer some of our questions and the gift shop was nice touch. However, I recommend stopping at the Center prior to getting a...More

Isn't this frustrating? Getting information on the McKinley Chalet is very difficult. Even the cruise line we booked our visit with could not tell us anything. I think you will get the most reliable info from the park... More
