We saw more beautiful birds and large alligators than we could count. Going early in the morning made parking easy, and the temperature was comfortable for walking. Our children loved the Junior Ranger activity book, and we all enjoyed learning more about the park from...More

Great place to bike and see alligators. Trail is almost empty after about 1 mile from the visitor center, pretty much only tour trams and bicyclists out that far. Lots of alligators, saw 80+ last year, and 50+ this year. Biggest one about 11 feet...More

We took the 2 hour tram tour, with Kelly as our guide and Richard as our driver. They were both fabulous: knowledgeable and entertaining!! We learned so much about the eco systems, the inhabitants, the different plants and the challenges facing the Florida Everglades. Well...More

So, I used TA to help me plan my 3 day trip to the Everglades, and I found it all a bit confusing so here’s my little guide - I hope it helps! The park is split into 2 sections, North and South. The Anhinga...More

Just a quick drive from Miami, it was a great way to explore the park on your own and see tons of gators and birds. We had so much fun biking at our own pace, stopping for photos and wildlife spotting. There weren't tons of...More

Amazing nature experience. Alligators, birds and fish all over. Especially on the first part. Watch where you stop, and look behind you as well.

We try to get to Shark Valley every time we are in South Florida. This time we got there about 11:30AM and had to wait for about 8 cars to come out before we were let in. It is busy on a Monday in February....More

Beautiful spot, alligators, birds, plants. Fairly warm, but breezy in February so no bugs. We only had a short time so didn't go far but saw alligators, egrets, herons (several types), anhingas, ibis (my favorite).
