Took the tour last year and it was fabulous! Came back this year with friends and was disappointed. This year's guide and driver need more practice. The guide appeared to be trying to practice his stand up comedy routine, but had no timing or delivery. The driver hurried us along - passing good viewing opportunities and picture spots; then would... More

This trail had the most animals of all the trails we visited. We took a tram ride at 4pm. Our guide was awesome! We learned so many things on this tour. I highly recommend doing this. You just dont learn as much about the glades if you walk or ride a bike. It is also the longest trail. If you... More

We stopped at Shark Valley on our way to Naples and I am SO glad we did. I wasn't so sure about the tram ride, but oh my goodness, it was incredible. So interesting. The tour guide, Carmen, was amazing. She was filled with all sorts of knowledge and was lots of fun. The tram driver, Gabriel, was nice and... More

Take a walk along the asphalt path, start on the right hand side: during its length of some 12km there were 62 alligators in the sun today! You can stop any moment, take as many photos you like and look at them from different angles. We also saw a female with baby alligators maybe 20 cm long, which you can... More

If you want to see as many different species of birds as possible in the shortest amount of time in the Everglades, then Shark Valley Visitor Center is the place and the tram ride is the mean. We did the 4PM ride on Jan 1st and were rewarded with beautiful sunset at the end of the tour. If you can,... More

The tram tour is worth the $25 ticket to see so many alligators. The tour is a full 2 hours with a brief stop at the tower which overlooks a favorite alligator congregating spot where we saw at least 10 laying near each other. Because there is so much ground to cover on the tram route, there isn't much time... More

We camped 5 nights at The Everglades National Park, do to some rain we heading north to Shark Valley and were so glad we went. There was some sun there so the Alligator were out on the bank basking in the sun. I believe there were 6 spread out over a 2 mile walk. They seemed harmless, we are very... More
