Great views of the river from this location. You also see some of the rapids that are hard to see from anywhere else. Don’t miss this.

Another viewpoint at the South Rim. Right at the edge and requires minimal walking so is good if one has mobility issues and wants to visit. Like the rest of the viewpoints offers breathtaking canyon views.

Another fantastic place to get awesome photos of the grand canyon. Take a pano shot at each of your stops along the south rim

I think this viewpoint had the best view of the Colorado River in the valley below. It was awe inspiring to see the river winding down below in the canyon.

We felt it was important to take on as many view points as possible. As you drive to the Eastern Rim, you will land on this location. Great colors in the mountains and the textures of the cliffs are amazing.

Grand Canyon is a beauty by itself but putting effort into research to find this place was absolutely worth it. The view made my visit so much better and I am definitely coming back to see this view one more time in my lifetime.

This view gives a great vista of the Colorado River and was my favorite view of all! The colors popped and the snaking river made for an amazing picture.

We stopped here after Desert View expecting a lot of people, but apparently not many go to other viewpoints. We did not experience many crowds here and it was pretty peaceful.

We visited about 2 hours after sunrise and it was pretty empty...not a lot of visitors at all. It's good for a short visit (about 30 minutes) if you have younger kids. Pretty good view, including that of the Colorado River if it's a clear...More

We took a guided bus tour and enjoyed it very much. i recommend going this route as you can focus on the sight seeing and not on the driving and parking.
