Drove through the Grand Tetons after going to Yellowstone and found it to be very beautiful and very enjoyable. Encountered some smoke from the wildfires, but we were still able to see the mountains. Good hiking area.

It's hard to believe that the iconic Teton Range is only 40 miles long, but it is such a marvel from every angle that perhaps even a mile more would be overwhelming. Whether viewed from the Snake River or from far eastern Idaho on the...More

We spent two days visiting Grand Teton NP on 8/28 and 8/29. Unfortunately, the mountains were obscured by smoke from the western wildfires, great for sunset photos not so great for day time shots. Things we'd suggest you do (in the most fun order) are:...More

My family visited the Grand Teton National Park for the first time this year. We visited without much of a plan; so, we just drove around and stopped at different points to take photos and just to enjoy the view. I highly recommend the Jenny...More

Being from the Midwest I wanted my family to experience the Western Mountain Range. I knew that once the Tetons came into view it was well worth the 1400 mile drive. From the oldest to the youngest they were in awe of the beauty of...More

Everybody is coming, so they advertised in June. Make sure you have a place to pitch that tent as every site may be full. Weather is cooler in August, with nights downright frosty. Be prepared for 50's or less at night.

Hike around Jenny Lake. Hike the Cascade Canyon area, see the Hidden Falls and the two Inspiration Points. It was beautiful. My kids are grade school age so we took the Jenny Lake Ferry to the CC area. That's a short cut... More
