I enjoyed stopping to see the cabin. It is right by the road and there is a parking area so it is very easy to access. The walk to the cabin is short from the parking area. It's interesting to try to imagine how someone...More

A short, easy (mostly flat) trail with good history. Definitely something to see, especially in spring when the dogwoods are blooming by the cabins.

There are two buildings on the property with a hiking trail and easy parking. It is an amazing treasure to visualize how the early settlers lived.

We have no clue as to how this wooden structure survived the Great Fire of 2016. Not many parking spaces nearby so the trails away from the house are not crowded. The views of the river out back are awesome.

We love coming here and we were delighted to know that it didn't burn in the November 2016 fires. Always worth a visit to this area!!

Did this little nature walk after hiking to Rainbow fall. There is an old cabin and barn. Interesting to see how the fire was all around cabin, but buildings stayed unharmed.

Great to see historic settlements and learn more about the families from the past whom settled in the area!

How long does it take to walk this trail? And would it be difficult for seniors with some mobility issues?
