This was like a well kept secret. There weren't very many people on the road or the Middle Prong Trail which is odd since its so close to Cade's Cove - its a nice "combo package". At the "Y", once you head toward Cade's Cove,...More

We found a beautiful swimming hole at a little water fall to hang out for a while. Then we went on to the roads end and took the trail along the creek. Amazing waterfalls and views. We highly recommend.

Love, love, love this area! It has our favorite waterfall hike at Spruce Flatts. This is a more difficult hike, but totally worth it. Then keep driving down the road next to the river to Middle Prong Trail, and walk to beautiful cascades. This is...More

Upper Tremont is a peaceful spot, somehow overlooked by so many GSMNP visitors. Just off of Little River Road this area is quiet as it travels beside the water. Never any traffic. The numerous watercourses and small pools are always inviting during hot summer days....More

WOW!!! I read the reviews and knew this was the place for my family of 16. We went to the other side of the Smoky Mountains and lasted an hour in all the congestion and traffic. Heading over here was just the place for us....More

A good place to get away from the crowds. The road is unpaved but was in good condition when we were there. We saw a few fly fishermen along the way, but not much traffic at all.

I drove my Honda Accord all the way to the end to the Middle Prong Trail. It has lots of pot holes but can be easily navigated with no problems.

So sorry, I just saw your question. It is about 2 miles, and I think you would be fine on a motorcycle.
