This is a great area with multiple swimming holes for everyone's comfort level. You can do an easy walk to a small pool, or hike past and over some rocks to a larger pool with a decent sized water falls OR do a tougher hike/climb...More

Sadly, on the day we visited, much access to the waterfalls was closed off due to high water. We had been here in the past and were able to hike right down to the waterfalls, but not this time. Thankfully we had visited Haliakala the...More

This is a great stop after Hana and one of the highlights of the trip. We went on March 23rd 2015 and found old stagnant water in the pools and no water flowing over the falls...not even a drop. Only the large water fall 2...More

Definitely suggest this visit if you're in the area... beautiful falls and views to the ocean, and hike from parking lot is easy.

Beware of drought!! The gulch is dry. Seven pools are down to zero as of March 2015. Wish I knew before the hours-long drive.

If you in the area, I would suggest hiking the Pipiwai first, than hitting this on the way down for a nice cool down. The pools are clean and you can hike to the upper pools where there are less tourists. A very neat spot,...More

This is a great place to visit. It was very breath taking place. Make sure you get there early before all the tourist get there. This was definitely a place that I loved visiting while in Maui.

The hiking trail to Ohe'o Gulch is easy and the pools are refreshing. Their is another trail at the park that is long, goes through a bamboo forest, and ends at a very steep waterfall, which is definitely worth the hike. That hike requires a...More
