This park is a fun little drive. Depending on the weather it has lots of short walks and some hikes that are interesting. Living in Minnesota, I'm not used to seeing deserts, so it was a nice change of scenery. Weather in February is perfect....More

If you only have limited time, don't let that keep you away. The more time you spend the better, but one can quickly see several highlights of the park in a short time.

Amazing place that we enjoyed driving through. The Joshua trees were gorgeous. There is no place to eat, and it takes a while to drive through the park. Bring food and water along. Plenty of restroom facilities.

It was amazing to see the sunset with the boulders and very unique trees. It as very windy, so a very sturdy tripod is needed. The view was amazing, and highly recommend it- especially during the dawn and dusk.

As you travel through the park, several distinct desert landscapes emerge, each with different flora, fauna, and rock formations. We approached the park from the south, so we didn't see the famed Joshua trees until near the end of our route. We were here just...More

There is a fee to get into the park--it's by carload, not person. Make sure you have a lot of water. They only have water at the ranger station. This park is where the Colorado and the Mojave Deserts meet. It's amazing how different they...More
