There are no words to describe what it is like facing what seems like the end of the world. It is breathtaking. Yes, Second beach was mentioned in Twilight. With that book aside, this is a very magestic place. I am thrilled to say that I had the opportunity to be able to witness such beauty.

The beach is beautiful, good place to view sea stacks. The hike is is a bit of work, 0.7 mines each way. It starts with a upward slope dirt trail, then flattens out, and finally zig zags steps down to the beach. I would say the last part is the most taxing, but the view is worth it in my... More

Hike down the path amid trees and ferns and arrive at a beach covered in huge pieces of drift wood and beautiful round, water worn rocks. Very large sandy area to walk on and you'll go home with some great photos.

By fat the prettiest of the beaches we visited, I could not stop shooting photos in every angle, full of small islands, drift wood, animals, fauna, waves, shades of light, pristine nature at its best

This was a beautiful trail - great to do at sunset - look for the playful otters! The tidal pools were fun too!

We drove over to the coast and checked out Rialto Beach but the main reason for us staying near Forks to begin with was our desire to show our granddaughter the Second Beach at La Push, part of the local Native American reservation and within the Olympic National Park boundaries. A 3/4-mile hike through coastal forest brings you to a... More

Second beach is by far the prettiest of the beaches coming from Forks. The sea stacks and tide pools are amazing. The hike coming back up is pretty tough if you're not in good shape or if it's raining (which it probably is!) It's worth the hike though and there's plenty of parking thanks to a second lot a short... More

This beach is different than Rialto beach. It's a hike to the beach. It's about half mile. There are many steps down to the beach. It's can be challenging. The day of our visit it was raining and windy. We didn't get to see much. We will definitely come back on a better day. We saw a couple of people... More

Beach was beautiful, expansive, totally different character than Rialto. Trail was a bit challenging, but beautiful and doable by us old out of shape folks.
