Found the staff knowledgeable & helpful. Before embarking on any hikes it would be worthwhile to inquire here for trail condition.

The gift shop is good, with friendly staff, and there is a sandwich on the bottom level. The restrooms are clean. The staff is knowledgeable about hikes on the ridge.

It's about 20 miles from Port Angeles and a beautiful drive. Lots of turnouts for you to pull off and take pictures and information spots to read. Tunnels,, wildlife, patches of snow, beautiful vista and the reward....Hurricane Ridge!!!

If you are a photographer, hiker, biker etc this is the best spot to visit. Beautiful landspace, wildlife etc can be seen here. We were lucky to see deers, antelope, Black Bear and wild goats near this location. All the hiking trials start from here.

This part of the Olympic National Park is a must! You travel about 4,000 feet up to a spctacular view as deer serenely graze past you. Just a beautiful spot!
