Rocky Mountain National Park has great visitor centers. There are several and we stopped at this one and the Alpine one. Take the time to drive to the top of the mountain. You are one top of the world! No matter the temperatures at the bottom, it's at least 20 degrees colder at the top. The rangers were very helpful.

Near the west entrance to the park. Good place to pick up a map of the park and get information. Good bathrooms. We saw some moose outside the center when we were there

The young woman was very personable and gave exactly the information we needed . She pointed out many of the viewpoints along the road that she thought would be interesting for us . There is also a small gift shop and displays of some of the animals you may encounter in the park . They also offer a show frequently... More

Stopped by on way into RMNP. Great place to get tips on "must see" sights. Kids earned Jr. Ranger. They loved it! Troy was great!!!

This center is very nice, clean and well stocked with information about the park. The workers in the center are very friendly and helpful. Many things to do at the center during the summer and many ranger led programs to take part in.

One of the smallest visitor centers in Rocky Mountain National Park. Very nice displays on wildlife and natural attractions. Clean bathrooms. The center does not sell passes you have to buy them at the Ranger Gate Entrance to park. For those over age 62, ask for the National Parks Lifetime Senior Pass for $10. We visited the park a couple... More

We stopped by to get our backcountry permit for our 2 day backpacking trip on the East Inlet Trail. The rangers were helpful & speedy getting us on our way to our hike.

This is the only visitors center on the west side of the park. It is pretty small but has nice informative area and tiny gift area along with a couple rangers there to answer questions about the park.

Well staffed center with good directions and many offerings of trails and outdoor activities. Open much longer than more elevated centers in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Very helpful staff and much information.
