The best views I've ever seen in my life! I will always remember the amazing views from trail ridge road and what a wonderful time I had! It is a little hard to breath at 12,000 feet especially if you live at sea level, but worth the drive through. Can't wait till my next trip!

What's not to love about RMNP... Typically you will see Elk, massive, majestic animals but DO NOT APPROACH. You will often find Rangers in the area where the Elk are, ensuring Elk safety and space be given by tourist. Cost to enter RNMP: varies per car and or discounts/passes. roughly $10 a car. Actual drive: This is a very scenic... More

Lots of twists and turns on very high roads without guard rails and long ways down. If you can stomach the high altitude and side to side sway caused by the turns, don't pass it up. It was worth the climb to 12,200+ feet.

Beautiful road trough the nationalpark offering several stops from where you can hike or just enjoy the view. Especially the higher Alpine part is impressive. Elks and deer can be spotted on the way.

Our family of six (kids ages 11-17) loves visiting national parks and seeing amazing scenery. We only had a short day to spend at Rocky Mountain NP since we were on the road from Texas to Utah, but it was well worth the detour. Depending on how many stops you wish to make and any hiking that you want to... More

The ride was beautiful but..... my whole family was praying for our life. We have a Toyota Tundra and this road was just wide enough to let the pickup roll. At some points there is a very steep drop on either side of us and we cant even see the edge of the cliff. My recommendation is go only with... More

They rant it's that simple and when you must pass someone and when you are on the outside just don't look down and go slow watch the road. The rest of the time just enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery in America.

Driving the Trail Ridge Road is an awesome experience filled with beautiful landscapes, lush fields of wildflowers, and grazing herds of wildlife. We got an early start and were glad we did! Wildlife seems to be most active in the early morning hours and right around sunset. Traffic seems to become heavier as the day goes on. We drove this... More

Beautiful scenic ride, majestic views. Saw lots of animals, including some impressive Elk. A must see if you are in Colorado. Somewhat crowded but overall highly recommend. I will make time to get off the beaten path and hike the next time I visit!
