This is the best hike I've found in Colorado. A very short walk to some great waterfalls - but dont stop there! Just a few min more along easy flat trails brings you to the best high alpine wetlands in the country. The lakes are...More

This trail, just on the outskirts of Grand Lake, is a great hike, especially to get acclimated to the altitude. The hike can be a short stroll to the falls themselves, or you can meander beyond the falls through lovely forests to beautiful mountain meadows....More

This was a fairly easy hike for our family, which included 7 children between the ages of 6 and 12. It wasn't too far of a hike to the waterfall and not too much uphill. I wouldn't recommend it for my parents though. It might...More

We hiked about 2 miles past the crowded falls and found even more gorgeous scenery! Beautiful river bottom meadows surrounded by mountains. Highly recommend it. I love the Grand Lake side of the park and its smaller crowds!

The hike was easy, the destination was beautiful. We continued on to the open meadow. We didn't see any moose, but the long grass was waving in the wind and the mountain views were beautiful!

This is a great trail for those not into real hiking. It is an easy, smooth walk to the falls, with only some incline, and this made with step-like section of the path. If you travel just a little way beyond the falls, the traffic...More

This was a nice, short and scenic trail to beautiful falls and river. It was fun to climb around on the rocks and explore along the river. The trail is well kept and is a nice destination on the west side of RMNP

Adams Falls is terrific .3 mi trail from East Inlet Trailhead on west side of Rocky Mountain National Park. With its entrance being outside the park, no park fee is required. A rushing waterfall with an easy stroll brings families of all ages and a...More

A great hike to do early in your stay at the park (especially for us folks from the prairie). It only takes a short hike to reach Adam Falls. They are spectacular. Also a good one to do with younger children. A taller wall has...More

Beware of the Park Service description of the walk to the falls as "negligible change" for elevation. It's an uphill walk to the trailhead and then further up and down. For someone with breathing issues, it can be too much.
