A great hike to do early in your stay at the park (especially for us folks from the prairie). It only takes a short hike to reach Adam Falls. They are spectacular. Also a good one to do with younger children. A taller wall has been built so you can safely see the falls without worry. But take the bug... More

Beware of the Park Service description of the walk to the falls as "negligible change" for elevation. It's an uphill walk to the trailhead and then further up and down. For someone with breathing issues, it can be too much.

We did this trail after a nice lunch in Grand Lake and before we headed back to Estes Park. A nice, short walk to the falls and back. Easy peasy. Pretty falls. Very close to Grand Lake.

The sheer angle at which this powerful waterfall rushes headlong into is simply astonishing! Lots of access to some great photo vantage points up and down the falls from the cordoned off viewing area. I caught myself just staring into the raw power of nature unleashed. And for such a minimal effort required to get there, you must see it.... More

This trail head is on the far west side of the park and is accessed outside the park entrance near the town of Grand Lake. It's an easy hike, but a beautiful fall and trail along the river. Worth the trip!

Hike to the falls was short, and the falls were beautiful. Alberta Falls, on the other side of the park, is a flatter, but longer hike, and a much larger and impressive waterfall.

Who doesn't like a nice short hike to a waterfall? The path is not flat, so be prepared for some rocks and an incline. Once you arrive, you can either stay at the falls and "ooh and ahh" or take a little loop trail. The water level when we were there was quite fast. This is a popular trail and... More

We took this short hike to Adams Falls on June 4, 2015. Very pretty surroundings. The falls were gushing over pretty loud. We stayed a little while and took pictures and enjoyed the scenery. The falls are very pretty. The trail goes further, but we headed back to the parking lot due to lack of time. There are a lot... More

My kids are sometimes grumpy on walks, but we found this rewarding. There's a short uphill climb, but after 10 to 15 minutes you come to the falls. In June, after a very rainy stretch, the falls are absolutely gushing. Carrying on above the falls, there are some rocks and stretches along the rushing river to explore. We actually went... More
