Absolutely incredible! Being from the plains, we have few trees and those that we do have aren't that big. So when we saw these for the first time we were speechless.

One of the places I have always wanted to see and it truly did not disappoint. Simply breathtaking. God continues to amaze me with His wonderment...and it is without a doubt displayed among the Giants.

This is the place people refer to, when they talk about sequoia national park. Lots of gigantic trees can be seen here, above them all, general Sherman the biggest of the all. Quite a few hiking trails lead through the Forrest, most of them fairly...More

Terrific place for a jaunt. Plenty of parking and lots of people. Everyone seems to want to hug the same tree. Better to go up the road to a less loved location and take a hike away from the crowds.

If you need to find your place in the world, sit beneath a sequoia and think about the history it has seen. It puts all in perspective with a beautiful view.

Forest full of giant sequoias, you could easily spend a day here just taking pictures and wandering around. Loads of different trails departs from the General Sherman tree.

Amazing views of the giants! I hate heights but did just fine on the drive up because of the trees and you have 20 mph speed limits mostly. Very curvy road but again since you go slow even people with car sickness should be just...More

I'm not sure about the weather, but when I was there in January everything indicated that time of year will indeed be very busy.
