This was the coolest thing ever. Its a lot of steps, but isnt so bad, since there are a lot of people, you have to stop often to get all the way up. Some spots are narrow, so go slow, but def go.

It is possible to view the rock but if you are a senior with knee problems you won't be able to climb the rock. However if when in the National Parks and you have problems walking you can ask for a handicap placard for your...More

The Moro Rock is amazing, it takes 300 steps, some sweat 😓 and for some putting aside some height nerves, but it was worth it. You can view the snowy mountains, the valley towards Three Rivers, and more.

This dome looms out over the western entrance to the park and provides a great vantage point on the valley to the west and the high sierra to the east. Worth the trip up the classic staircase.

Climbed to the top and was rewarded with a truly amazing view. Witnessed rock climbers repelling off the top which was pretty amazing. Completely recommend it.

Totally doable. 3.5 year old climbed up all the 400 steps. Unfortunately it was completely cloud covered, so zero views for us!

I think it’s possible there are places to stop and rest too. The 3 yo may need help. They will probably be ready for a nap after!

I'd definitely expect snow during that time, and wouldn't chance climbing up Moro Rock if there's any snow or ice present on the stairway. That said, winter scenes in both Sequoia and King's Canyon are amazing, it's worth... More
