Moro Rock is a must see if in the area. Incredible views when the clouds/fog isn't covering the landscape. Traveler Tip: It is a decent incline so just be aware of this if traveling with children, elders, or anyone not in great physical condition. If...More

The path is narrow and fairly steep, but there are steps, so that helps! There are some pretty sheer drops off the edge of the path, but the railings and little walls help you feel safe. Once at the top, the views are incredible!

The climb was steady and became narrow toward the top. The views of the surrounding mountains and pine & Sequoia forests were spectacular. We saw people of all ages making the climb...several young children. It wasn't an easy climb but is doable for most everyone....More

A gorgeous climb. I would imagine the views are lovely but the smog and smoke made it almost impossible to see. Also the swarms of bugs were overwhelming.

I'd definitely expect snow during that time, and wouldn't chance climbing up Moro Rock if there's any snow or ice present on the stairway. That said, winter scenes in both Sequoia and King's Canyon are amazing, it's worth... More

I agree with "8 is Enough". It takes about an hour. But you need to drive up a small road from the main highway to get there. That takes maybe 20 minutes, but there are little sights along the way that you may want to stop... More
