Roaring River Falls is a big payoff for a short effort in Kings Canyon National Park. Located almost at the end of the only road in Kings Canyon, a short but beautiful walk from the parking lot takes one to this roaring waterfall. The anticipation...More

This waterfall is not a big one but very refreshing one during hot summer visit. Very short walk from the parking lot and it is on the main roadway so do not miss it.

Don't miss this stop! Wonderful way to end a hot day of hiking! If you are able to climb safely down to touch the waters (where it is calm), it is icy cold, very refreshing and very rejuvenating to dip your toes and fingers in...More

Roaring River Falls is easy to see, just a very short walk from the parking area. It's a nice stop on a beautiful drive.

Great short hike to view the falls for those who don't want a strenuous hike. Improvements were being made on the trail, small parking area nearby.

The paved walkway to the falls is easy to negotiate and the falls are spectacular to see. This is our second visit and it always amazes.

We hiked from the Zumwalt Meadow trail to the Roaring Falls trail and back. It was an easy hike and the falls were very powerful. We were the only ones on the trail and at the water fall (it was right around late morning), so...More

I can't predict if the falls will be "roaring". Check the road through Kings Canyon for the Roaring Falls stop.
