Nice overlook stop. This was the prettiest overlook between the Dickey Recreation Station and Hawksbill peak (highest peak). If you only want to make one stop at an overlook, let this be it.

Skyland resort is the perfect place to stay while visiting Shenandoah National Park. The facilities are perfect and the atmosphere is second to none. We love it there!

We took this hike because it was the closest to us and really enjoyed the hike. Nice views for a pretty easy hike.

Sheltered tables out of sun and rain, running water in washrooms and access to the Appalachian Trail make this a nice place to stop for a picnic lunch
