This hike is a great warm up for Old Rag or a much shorter, easier version. We did it the day before as one of our warm up hikes. It is a fun rock scramble but you'll need to be comfortable with drop-offs.

This hike has great views and great variety. The climb takes in terracing, stairs, rock scrabble, forest, and mountain views. It's a good way to see many aspects of SNP!

Easy climb over the rocks or a nice walk on the wooded path. The path offers opportunities to view birds and forest wildlife.

Is there any way to do part of this hike so that our one kid who is afraid of heights will be ok? Or will we encounter the scary part right away and have to turn back?
