Quick 1.2 up and back hike that has a Little Rock scrambling at the top. The views are great and there are plenty of spots to take pictures! This hike took our group of 6 less than 45 minutes to do. Very close to the...More

This hike was perfect for our family. It's relatively short - only about 0.6 miles each way. My boys (ages 9 to 18) absolutely loved it. The rock scramble portion definitely requires some coordination and care, but is doable by someone in decent shape. There...More

The climb was challenging, but lots of fun. The view from the top was worth it. We are not hikers, not in great shape but we're able to make it to the top.

We took the rock scramble side up. My son (12) loved this. It is a challenge for novice hikers and the rocks are rough (wear pants). My 9 year old was a bit nervous at the rock scrambles' highest points. I was very nervous with...More

This was my favorite hike in Shenandoah! The rock scramble is fun and just challenging enough. View from the top can't be beat.

The rock scramble is a little challenge but very satisfying. Great hike. I'm local and it's one of my favorites.

This hike is a great warm up for Old Rag or a much shorter, easier version. We did it the day before as one of our warm up hikes. It is a fun rock scramble but you'll need to be comfortable with drop-offs.
