Angel's Landing is one of Zion's most spectular scenic outlooks; it can be reached only by a very demanding hike on the West Rim Trail.

This was one hell of a hike - and boy, I would say it was the toughest hike for me until now. We started a bit early in the morning to beat the crowd - but I would say, we could not! :) There were...More

The colors in early Nov are beyond gorgeous, we had a gorgeous sunny day. BUT this is the Scariest thing I've ever done! EXTREMELY Beautiful !!! We are very active 50s, big long hikes, mtn bike... but this was very scary. The canyon to Angel's...More

I did this hike in June 2017 and have never taken the time to write a review. Have gotten really behind in my reviews but this is one I had to rectify. I did this hike by myself and I am afraid of heights. I'm...More

The trail had icy conditions warning at trail head. I was a little unsure if I should go but decided - when in Zion this is a must do. The trail climbs about 1500 feet in around 2 miles. Take your time and enjoy views...More

After researching several points of interest to visit / hike in Zion - Angles Landing was our top priority. Not for the faint at heart....the well maintained path zig zags back and forth to the top. I'm in good shape but it was "challenging' to...More

If you're afraid of heights don't bother. Otherwise this is a must do hike. The views are gorgeous and once you get over the initial shock of the drop offs it becomes easier. Definitely need to be in shape and active. Go early to avoid...More

Warning, this hike is not for the faint of heart. I went on this hike with my two kids (12 and 15) during a national parks vacation. It is a relatively long hike to even reach the place where Ángels Landing begins. It looks very...More

It's not an easy hike, let me just say it up front, but it's fun because the last half mile you are literally climbing rocks while holding on a metal chain. But once you made it up to the top, you will be glad that...More

So scary! especially when there are a lot of people and you are trying not to slide of the rock, hanging on to dear life to that chain with 10 people coming down and not knowing what your next move is lol but once you...More

A group of 12 of us younger seniors did this great hike on a beautiful late November day. There were other hikers around but we never felt crowded. The hike is very steep in spots and a great workout. You need to be in at...More

From the Trail Head I believe it is 2.5 Miles on way. We started at the Zion Lodge and that added about a half mile each way of 6 miles round trip from the Lodge. No Matter what .... do not miss making the hike.

Angels landing and the emerald pools are closed right now. And right now it seems like the Narrows are packed with people. Google “latest conditions of Zion National Park” there’s an app that tells what’s closed.
