I visited on a Saturday and spent close to 40 minutes circling the Visitor Center parking lot for a parking spot. As it was already close to noon, I was able to snag a parking spot from someone who had gotten there earlier. The bus...More

It's possible to visit Zion National Park without driving the canyon road. And what a shame that would be. The climb up to the tunnel from the main area of the park is a dramatic drive with multiple hairpin turns. Driving through the mile-long tunnel...More

Zion National Park deserves as much time as you can allow but if pressed for time the Canyon Drive will give you a great overview. A bit pricey at $30 per vehicle.

We drove this early around 6:30am before the congestion started. Views at every turn. Take you time go slow and enjoy it. The tunnel is an added bonus.

The scenery is absolutely stunning. We did it on our motorcycle. Bring your camera & drive slow! Enjoy.

The drive into Zion is the best part of visiting the park. The switchbacks, rock faces and all of the ever changing colors and textures are absolutely awesome. There are numerous places to pull off to take pictures. Within the park there is limited parking....More

Take it slow. Ride the entire road. Take endless pictures. Amazing. There are bike rentals at entrance to park.

My wife and I spent two days in Zion. We stayed in Springdale and really enjoyed the natural beauty of Zion. Driving through the tunnels and natural arches the road went through was AMAZING. We saw mountain goats (or big horn sheep, not sure) right...More

Great views around every corner. A very cool tunnel over a mile long. Once you get to the park gates grab the shuttle to be dropped off on several points each with its own appeal. Area great for family’s couples or solo folks out to...More

This was my favorite park of all the parks we rode through. Twisty, hilly and beautiful views. A must see.

Driving through Zion is unbelievably beautiful! There are actually 2 scenic drives, one via shuttle and one via your own car. The one in your own car is the best in my opinion. And yes, the Overlook trail is gorgeous! I saw... More

I've no idea about the proposed delay, however, the SCENIC DRIVE is one of the best drives I've ever taken, as the views are just A-MAZ-ING. Try to do it if you can!!
