Just driving through Zion National Park is a breath taking experience. Admittedly the road and the sudden drop offs make one hold their breath at times. I wouldn't have missed this for the world.

This is a five-mile long scenic drive into a beautiful area of red-rock canyons. It's located on the northwest corner of Zion National Park, along Interstate 15 at exit 40. [Note that this is approximately 40 miles from Zion Canyon near Springdale]. There is an...More

It was $30 to drive the 5 Miles, and it was worth it. We met wonderful couples enjoying it with us but it was not crowded.

This is not near the other areas of Zion National Park, but it is worth the visit. The 5 mile dead end road that starts just off I-15 is not too difficult & has fantastic scenery. Don't miss this when you come to Zion National...More

The spectacular drive up Kolobs Canyon is only 5 miles long (each way) so cruise slowly and use every turnout. Once you stop - and now the driver can look around too -- beauty is in all directions. The scenery is spectacular in both directions,...More

Yes you could use the 5 Mile Road with your RV. At the end you have plenty of space to turn around. It's a dead end road. But there's no Lake at all... :)
