You can take this scenic drive on the west side of the park with access from I15. It is a pretty drive with a couple of hiking trailheads along the way.

We almost didn't make the ride because it just felt like too much driving - so glad we did. The drive is easy and the views are not to be missed. It is truly a completely different view of Zion than being in the canyon...More

More amazing Zion scenery - easy 15 minute drive up to the top. Was pretty cold up there (mid-April), but we were glad we made the extra effort to get out of the heavily travelled area of Zion to see this too. Next time hopefully...More

Red, Orange, Vermillion, and pale Yellow sanddtone layers for hoodoos and amazing cliffs of Kolob Canyons. Short scenic drive with pullouts and hiking trail at the end of the road.
