It was a fantastic hike. I would suggest going in the morning to avoid the people. We started around 8:45 or so and only saw two other people on the way out... coming back was another story. Also, watch the weather, you're crossing back and...More

Did this hike the day after Angels Landing. While the views were less spectacular, it was a much more peaceful experience because of difficulty (less incline) and foot traffic. I wasn't sure what to expect at the end of the hike but was actually very...More

Loved this hike, it's not crowded like all the other zion hikes. The scenery is beautiful. We got caught up in a little bit of rain while we were there which was pretty cool when we hit the arch alcove. It was dripping down the...More

This is a five miler hike accessible from the Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway in the Kolob Canyons Road. When you look at the map, it is located on the northwest corner. But there is no access from Zion. You have to take 9 West, 17 North,...More

Wear old shoes on this hike, because you have to cross the creek dozens of times. The views on the hike are incredible as you are surrounded by rock walls and cliffs. The hike is not terribly strenuous - it's fairly level.

This was one of my favorite hikes while in Zion. Quiet with very few people, and beautiful fall colors

The best time to hike this trail is near the end of October. That's when the maples have changed to various shades of pink and red. Due to the way the red rock canyon walls close in towards the end of the hike, it's pretty...More

This is over a 6 mile round trip hike, so take plenty of water, but the hike itself is not strenuous and it is well worth it at the end. You hike back and forth across the creek until you come to two cabins built...More

This is an easy hike and lovely first thing in the morning before it gets too hot. Trail is largely shaded and crosses a creek bed 30-40 times before reaching a "double arch" in stone which is well worth the hike. Not nearly as many...More
