Like others recommended, we took the 6am shuttle and were the first group to start the hike. We wanted to avoid the crowds (with Angels Landing closed, the trail is much more crowded) and the heat. This hike would be pure misery in direct sun...More

Fantastic hike. Highly recommend it. Angels'landing was closed so we were told to try this one. Started out early, 7, but had to wait for a while at the bus. Shady for first hour and a bit. Switch backs up to narrow Canyon. Really spectacular....More

I would categorize us as out of shape- we walk a few miles a day, but not hikers. We took the first shuttle to Weeping rock stop and started our hike. There are no bathrooms on the way, so it is best to flush in...More

What a hike, but what a view! Pretty straightforward hike, basically all up hill one way, and completely downhill on the way back. Very tough on the knees & toes on way down but the view at the top makes it totally worth it.

We did this hike 6 years ago and it was a favorite so wanted to do again. Unfortunately we left later in the day (due to camper problems) and the heat got the best of my daughter. We still saw great views (as we got...More

I think what you see is very similar. From observation point you are higher and looking right at Angels landing. So, from Angels Landing you have an unobstructed view to the south and you are on a pinnacle so that's a big... More

Sorry I mean 3 miles each way. 3 miles fairly steep grade uphill.
