Easy Walk Rewarded with Epic Views

Totally pleasant stroll even in cold December and the views at the end are mind blowing. The ice is the only really scary part.

This vacation was Jaw dropping. If you enjoy the outdoors you have to make time to visit Utah's parks. Zion, Bryce (do the horseback ride) was great! The memories that were made will never be forgotten!!

The views on this trail are amazing the entire way up. We visited in December without crampons, so it was rather difficult to navigate because there were some slippery hills. However, even without gear, we were able to make it around 3/4 of the way up.

When planning our trip we read reviews of all of the different trails and hikes and selected a few main events. We were happy that we made the effort to complete this hike. Again the elevation gain by the switchbacks is a killer and the 8 mile round trip may be a little long for some but it's well worth... More

This was a very strenuous hike in the show, especially because we were among the first out there after it snowed the night before. We also got soaked crossing the stream. It was pretty unavoidable and very cold. Our six hour time include a few snack breaks.

Very nice viewpoint. You need about 30 minutes light climbing to get there. Views are breathaking. It is beautiful during sunset

We did this hike for our Wedding Anniversary and what an amazing day it was. Around 10.30 am when we reached the trail head, end of October and in total took around 4,5 hours which included half and lunch break on the summit. We are pretty fit being middle distance runners and on the whole did not find the ascent... More

It's kind of a long hike up there, but the view is well worth it. Try to catch the first shuttle bus to beat the crowds so you can have the point to yourself and catch good photography light.

When planning this day trip from Las Vegas, we knew we had only one day to spend exploring the Zion Canyon so we wanted to hike the "grand-daddy" of all hikes in the park- that being Observation Point. We started this hike around 12:30pm and finished around 5pm, so it took us around 4.5 hours (although we heard from others... More

This was our first hike at ZIon. 8 miles round trip. Roughly 2,000 of elevation gain. Smooth or paved trail ... so you can leave your hiking boots at home and stick with your hiker-runners. Spectacular scenery and views. A medium challenge for us (we are 62, reasonable condition). GO EARLY, first light, the trail will get very busy with... More
